GIANTS & FAERIES TOUR OF IRELAND
Join Dawn Dancing Otter and Serena Turner this September 2020 on a sacred and exiting journey thru the Emerald Isle!
The theme of this tale will be “Giants and Faeries” visiting sites where the landscapes speak of the people who came before....and where many of us emerged ! From the Tuatha de Danaan, the Faery Folk, the Mythological Giant called the Fomorians, The Giant Tree and Stone people, and the coming of the Celts and Vikings. Ireland is rich in Her~story. We shall share Her tales, and create our own stories to be shared, as we awaken into our ancestral memory.

Day 1
Pick up at Dublin Airport .
We head North to the rich rolling Boyne Valley to the Hill of Tara where we will ground in with a sacred ceremony connecting us with our ancestors of the land.
After Lunch at the Hill of Tara, we head further North To Newgrange, home of the Father Dadga.
After a day of ceremony, and ancient sites, we will fit in a quick stop to the Trim Castle, Home of the Braveheart Film, to honour the “brave hearts “in our lives.
Day 2
We leave behind the beautiful Boyne Valley and head to the home of the Giants!
Travelling north, to take in the breathtaking views and lore of the Giant’s Causeway, we will stop along the way for lunch and the Bushmills Distillery for a wee taste of Irish Whisky!

Day 3-5
We spend some time around Donnegal, exploring the gorgeous NW coastline.
Slieve League cliffs and hiking .
The next day, we will visit Sligo, where it was said the first peoples were to have entered Ireland from the sea.
For those who are exited to climb a fort mound, we will hike to the top of Knocknarea, where the goddess/ queen Maeve’s cairn lies atop.
After, we will soak in some luxury, in sea weed baths for some ultimate relaxation.
We will also visit with a Seannachie, a traditional Irish story teller, for the deep mythology of Sligo and the North West of Ireland.
There are two types of seannachie ~one who tells of great battles, quests, and love, and the other who speaks of the landscapes of the land and how they came into form.
Day 5-7
Exploring around the city of Galway and the Legendary Galway Bay for world renowned traditional Irish music sessions and pubs , the Cliffs of Moher, the Callieachs head, and the Great Wild Burren of County Clare.
On the Burren we will wander and connect with special plants growing wild and explore their essence and effects.
Day 7- 8
Down into Counties Limerick and Kerry, Faerie Country! We will do ceremony at the Grange Stone Circle -the largest Neolithic stone circle in Ireland and the place of Àine - the Faerie Goddess, Lough Gur - the Enchanted Lake and the Faerie trail, the Paps of Anu, the City of the Tuatha de Danaan, and Innisfallen, an ancient Druidic school.
In Killarney town, we will take the day to self explore, shop, enjoy the excitement of this vibrant city.
Day 9-10
Around Dingletown and the Dingle Pennisula, visiting ancient Monastery BeeHive Huts, and the high cliff beaches around Slea Head Drive, strolling through Faerie Glens, and we will stop for some Kerry lore with a well known Seannachie near Dingletown.

Bios
Dawn Dancing Otter began her journey on a healing path as a young child. Her early experiences of clairvoyance, dream work, empathic healing, and interconnection with nature and spirituality are her spiritual foundation.
Dawn studied Ecstatic Dance and healing movement with several teachers including Gabrielle Roth. She has a grounded and committed foundation of yoga practice since 1990 including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, and Kundalini Yoga, and is a certified teacher of these practices. She has a BFA in Dance, is certified in Remedial Massage, Myofascial, and Ayurvedic Massage.
In 1999, suffering from a life-threatening illness, Dawn experienced a complete healing through Soul Retrieval and Extraction Medicine with Manfred Lukas, who would eventually become her Teacher and Mentor.
Over the last two decades, Dawn has had intensive mentorships Alchemical Healing Facilitation, Amazonian Plant Medicine, Irish Ancestral Ceremony, Storytelling, Earth Alchemical Medicine, Tantra and Spirituality. She continues to invest her time and energy into continuing education to expand her capacity to bridge understanding and to bring this expansion to the Teachings.
Dawn is the founder and principal teacher for The Alchemist Path™️ International Leadership Guild with apprenticeships and programs offered in Canada, The US, Central and South America, Europe, and Australia.
Dawn lives in community on Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada with her 2 sons.
Serena Turner grew up with a deep love for Nature and the Creator of these things. always provoked by curiosity for the great Mystery and inspired by story and parables. Her favorites where always about how the animals gave voice , plants as medicine and miraculous healings that were possible thru faith and prayer.
She went on to work at the Calgary Zoo, learning animal behaviour and discovered her gift in animal communication.
She received a diploma in Travel and Tourism , where her focus and passion was always on adventure travel.
After many years, working as a flight attendant , she decided it was time to get closer to the earth and began her studies in the healing arts.
Studying the Alchemist Path, with Dawn Dancing Otter, Alchemy of Herbal Medicine with Seraphina Capranos, the Green Witch with Susan Weed, and spent time in the Amazon with Shibibo healers and plant medicine. She also studied with Amantha Murphy, founder of the women’s academy of Irish Shamanism & Spirituality, completing level one of the Way Of Seabean and The Spiral Path.
Her most recent training has been with the Art of Mentoring program at Wilderness Awarness School learning the 8 shields philosophy . She is continuing in her coyote mentoring journey with the Thriving Roots Adult Wilderness program for nature connection , culture repair and primitive skills building .

She currently works part time teaching Nature Preschool , kindergarten , and as a child and youth mentor , where she thrives and loves the work she gets to do
